Dear Javen, I think you ot it all wrong. Firstly, if the bookie's odds shows 1.70, it means that the bookie feels that Tottenham has 1/1.70 = 59% chance of winning.. And OW shows 2.10 (which is 1/2.10 = only 48% chance of winning. For this instance, you should NOT have taken Tottenham because OW feels that there's only 48% instead of the 59% chance the bookie have specified. If there were only two sides to choose (usually found on Asian Handicap Odds). You should have favour taking the Asian Handicap for the opposing team to Tottenham. Basically, OW works on retrospective formulas, taking past results into account to project an expect result (percentage of winning).. There are factors which has to be taken into consideration like weather, injuries, forms, upcoming fixtures and etc. OW is not a software allowing the user to have a SURE win pick/bet. OW is more catered for users which wants to take Sports Betting to a higher level, ie: Investment.. I'd advice you to read through the other forum topics to understand more on how OW works. There're experiences whoch have been logged in the other forum topics which might enlighten you. I wish you the best of luck. |
