Alex, I have download 2.00 and compared the two. It seems to me that the 06 algorithm seems to be better for the nfl at first glance. For instance new england under 06 is -16 and only -5 in 07? I will look and compare some more in other leagues. MLB the sides seem close but totals are all at least 1 run higher. As to updating......Is there a way to export the games module to excel and then keep it current through the excel file and updating from that? Would be easier that way in big leagues that cannot be updated automatically. Thanks Rick (Added) In looking at ncaa fb the 07 algorithm looks much better. But again for the nfl the 07 seems completely wrong. Would there be a reason for this difference? In the nfl this week all but 3 teams are -1 to +1 ?? Rick (Added) 1 more question... What is the maximum number of teams you can follow in 2.0? Thanks |

In my opinion, algorithm of 2006 for NFL was absolutely wrong. For example, in the last round matches Carolina - Tampa Bay 1.11/9.79 San Diego - Kansas City 1.08/13.5 away teams have won, while the odds for home teams were too small. MLB is being tested now. If you have updated file, please send it to me. Thanks. OW v2.00 still supports up to 255 teams. |

away teams have won, while the odds for home teams were too small. I am not sure we are looking at the same thing then. in 2006 algorithm new england is -18.5 and indianapolis -11, and san fran +7 in 2007 its new england -1.5, indy -3.5 and san fran +1 It seems to appear the odds for home teams are too small in 2007 algorithm. I sent you the mlb that is up to date a few days ago...did you receive it? I had sent it before but it came back. Do you have another email address I can send it to? thanks Rick |

Alex, Is there a way to export the games field to an excel file similar to the way you export the new fixtures? This would allow you to update the database in excel and reload or if you have a corrupted data you could export delete and reload. Rick |

There is a way to import games directly from Excel in v2.00 using Update games function, while the export of games is not implemented yet. Email addresses: alex@newhavensoft.net newhaven@interdon.net |
