Question?

Postby Deyu » Mon Aug 24, 2009 6:24 am

Hi Alex,

I have a question for you. I'm about to buy the full version of Odds Wizard, can you tell me how to proceed? After I get the registration key can I activate Odds Wizard for many times? ...I say if my computer is down and after a period of time I want to reactivate the Odds Wizard can I make it with the same registration key?

Thancks.

No problem. You will be able to activate or re-activate Odds Wizard as many times as needed. If necessary, you will be supplied with updated registration keys for free in case of changes in your hardware.

Ok Alex. Thancks. I have another problem. I saw that some leagues aren't ok, i mean they have nothing...not even the standings or something...like Romania...after I get the registration everything will be ok? I will be able to see fixtures from all leagues?

Romania is Ok. Just checked. Fixtures do not depend on the registration. Please make sure you are using the latest version. Download it from the web site and reinstall Odds Wizard. Normally it is a matter of few seconds.

I just bought the full version. I hope to win some money with OW. Wish me luck Alex.

(If you have some advices about how to fix the program to give me the fair odds or about how to "read" that odds and to make the best choice and win please tell me}

Of course I wish you good luck.

At the same time, my observations show that expectations of quick enrichment by betting are wrong even though you are using such a powerful program. Look at the value of 'Rave' (in Stake Wizard tool) to have an idea of how many betting rounds are needed in average to achieve the target fund. However OW can stop wasting your money in a blind betting.

Fair odds are shown in OW by default, i.e. when the option 'profit margin' is set to zero. Basic advices on how to use fair odds were published in the topic Experience and tips -> Tips on using Odds Wizard:

I have another question: dou you think is better to set depreciasion period to 450 days? ..because i saw that is setted to 900 days. If I set to 450 days the odds will be more realistic?

Game that are older than (Today - Depreciation period (DP)) are completely ignored by the algorithm. 900 day is the experimentally determined average period for the soccer on the basis of criteria described in the Manual. Usually DP is in the range of 800-1100 days for most soccer leagues except of international leagues. I don't think that 450 will result in the simultaneous growth of the succes rate, and reducing of the entropy.

Look at Tools -> Performance analysis, the last two columns. Use criteria
Succes rate -> max, and Entropy -> min.
