Why old forum has been replaced with the new one

The old forum has been recently replaced with the new one because of the following reasons:

1. New forum is based upon MySQL database, and therefore it is far more reliable.

2. New forum has a lot of features that were not available in the old one.

3. Old forum has been hit by hacker's attacks couple of times. Now it becomes too hard to restore damaged forum data as the amount of data continuously increases.

I did wonder if this might be why the old forum was so unstable. Let's hope this one is better protected.

Thanks for keeping a forum open and keep improving the program, I'm finding the green cells very rewarding.
