Postby spec » Tue Apr 21, 2009 5:09 am

Hi, I want to export Stake Wizard input (date, league, home team, away team ...) and output (p%, R95, R ave, ...) into Excel.

How can I do this ?

Many thanks

Current version does not support export from Stake Wizard tables to Excel. However you can try to use stake files (*.STK) as follows: 1) Change extension of stake file to *.CSV 2) Import it from Excel.

In such a way, you will be able to load just input part of Stake Wizard data.

alex, can you tell me what profit margin gives us the best odds? 0%, 10 % or 20% ? what profit margin do you use?

what profit margin gives us the best odds?

The quality of odds does not depend on the profit margin. The term 'the best' pertains to the highest line (market) odds offered by sportsbooks.

You must understand the difference between the line odds and fair odds computed by Odds Wizard. Roughly speaking, fair odds = line odds with profit margin 0%.

Alex,

From the performance tables, it appears that for matches where the computed odds are 50 %, OW prediction success rate is 60 %.

Does this mean that if I just bet blindly on 50 % fair odds, ignoring bookie's line odd, then my win rate will be 60 % ???

Thanks for the tip regrading exporting Stake Wizard file. It worked without changing the file extension to CSV
