a suggestion about improving chart (team vs team)

I have an idea about improving chart menus function (team vs team). If there were a virtual line of a team in the future or expected form of team or suggestion by odds wizard , it would be very good in order to predict the performance of the team in the future.

OW evaluates the current strength of teams which is then used to predict outcomes of upcoming events in terms of probabilities.

Do we have enough reasons to extrapolate existing strength trends into the future? I am not sure because those trends may (and actually do) reverse at any time. Thus the reliability of such virtual curves will be under the question.
